Role Description

Job Overview

The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for a temporary full-time Operations Maintenance Worker (from approximately April 20, 2026 to December 18, 2026) to join our team of professionals in the Public Works Division, Stormwater Department. Reporting to the Stormwater Manager, in this unionized position you will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled construction and maintenance work requiring physical effort and agility. You must have sufficient stamina, strength and coordination to permit the performance of heavy manual outdoor work in all weather conditions. 
Responsibilities
Utilize a variety of repair processes and equipment including an M-Scope and laser level to locate utilities 
Operate a dump, flat, panel or service truck of between 5,100 and 24,000 pounds GVW to load and unload material, supplies and equipment as required
