Introduction

Brunel is seeking an Accountant to support our chemical manufacturing client’s team for a 6‑month assignment. As a member of the Accounting Services team, this position is responsible for supporting inventory accounting, production, variable and fixed cost reporting, government reporting, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Independently carries out varied assignments requiring a broad application of GAAP/IFRS financial principles and internal policies and guidelines
• Provides support related to cost accounting and reporting, including analysis of inventory, sales and fixed costs
• Applies their understanding of the implications of changes in contractual terms affecting the Olefins accounting area
• Coproduct cost accounting and reporting, including analysis of inventory, production and sales
