Advanced Procurement Manager

Job Description

Advanced Procurement teams, part of strategic sourcing, are the prime procurement responsible to the product management and engineering teams in the product groups. They are in charge, throughout the product life cycle, to reduce product cost and risk, translate product requirements into negotiation inputs and objectives, and promote preferred sourcing strategies.

Key for success is early involvement in the product life cycle to anticipate appropriate supplier and solution selection and create the largest negotiation margin. Close cooperation with the central Product and EMS/ODM/OEM sourcing team is key to assure on‑time delivery at minimum cost and increase negotiation leverage.
