Job Description

AltaGas is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its External Reporting team, reporting to the Senior Manager, External Reporting. The role focuses on the preparation of continuous disclosure documents, including consolidated financial statements, MD&A, and the AIF.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation of continuous disclosure documents, including AltaGas’ consolidated financial statements, MD&A, and the AIF.
• Research and document complex accounting matters.
• Prepare clear, concise documentation to support financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Coordinate information requests and support quarterly and annual reporting processes.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Support the enhancement and maintenance of financial reporting processes and internal controls.
• Monitor developments in U.S. GAAP and regulatory disclosure requirements.
