Api engineer: scale fast, secure backends

We are seeking a skilled API Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs that power our applications and integrations. You will play a key role in shaping scalable backend services, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems, and optimizing performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and/or Graph QL APIs Build scalable, secure, and high-performing backend services Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and third-party integrators Ensure API performance, reliability, and scalability through testing and monitoring Implement authentication and authorization (e.g., OAuth, JWT) Create and maintain API documentation (e.g., Swagger/Open API) Troubleshoot and resolve API issues, ensuring minimal downtime Optimize APIs for performance, latency, and scalability Stay up to date with best practices in API architecture and microservices
