Applications Specialist

What You’ll Do:

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe solutions using Software AG Natural programming language, following established Nutrien and industry standards for code management, testing, and lifecycle control.

Support applications through the full lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.

Contribute to the ongoing reliability, performance, and maintainability of mission‑critical mainframe systems.

Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to ensure performance, availability, and data integrity.

Support modernization and integration initiatives while maintaining stability of the core platform.
