Assistant Cost Consultant/Cost Consultant (Mechanical & Electrical)

As an Assistant Cost Consultant / Cost Consultant, you will support or lead (depending on level) the delivery of cost management services, including:

• Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Preparing Construction Cost Estimate reports at all stages of design for commercial, institutional and residential projects throughout Canada
• Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan
• Ensuring that cost analysis, cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
• Participating in Value engineering, LEED analysis and Life Cycle costing
• Provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.
• Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all projects stages.
