Role Summary
The Assistant Design Manager is responsible for leading the India-based formwork design team and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, compliant formwork designs in support of factory production and project requirements. The role carries accountability for team performance, workload management, and meeting agreed production targets.
Key Accountabilities
Lead, manage, and develop the formwork design team based in India.
Plan, coordinate, and prioritise design workloads to meet monthly production and delivery targets.
Ensure formwork designs are fit for purpose, compliant with project requirements, and aligned with factory manufacturing needs.
Assist the Technical Design Manager as the primary design interface with Factory, Business Development, and Project teams.
Manage design deliverables, changes, and priorities across multiple projects.
