Role Description

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with the store’s day to day operations. In conjunction with management implements strategies and processes to drive customer service, store sales and profitability.

Provides assistance and support to management in supervising and facilitating the daily operations of the store.

Oversees the responsibilities of the Store Manager in their absence.

Opens and closes the store.

Provides direction, guidance, training, instruction, performance management and support to all store associates as required.

Ensures store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.

Assists in creating weekly staffing schedules; ensuring staffing levels adequately meet business needs.

Liaise with the various departments of the store to ensure information is conveyed properly and expectations are communicated
