Assistant Supervisor

Job Description

Job Purpose:

Assist the Production Supervisor with the training and supervision of the production and manufacturing personnel to ensure that pipes and fittings are produced in a safe, effective and efficient manner.

Supervision of section:

·Assist the supervisor in completing all production activities on time and according to required standards 

·Monitor the sections to help achieve the quantities required by the production schedule 

·Monitor production process to ensure safe operations

·Identify maintenance issues and report problems to supervisor and maintenance personnel

Manufacturing:

·Use raw material in accordance with specifications to avoid production problems

·Assist the supervisor by monitoring the production process to ensure finished products meet quality standards
