Associate Designer

Our client, a leading global retailer, is seeking an Associate Designer to join their women’s apparel design team based in New York City.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, technically strong, and creative design professional with experience supporting women’s woven and cut-and-sew categories. The position will work closely with senior leadership on seasonal development, technical design execution, CAD creation, and product development initiatives.

The ideal candidate has worked on:

• Women’s woven and cut-and-sew apparel

• Technical flat sketching and tech pack development

• CAD presentations, print layouts, and artwork placement

• Garment construction, fit, and apparel development processes

• Cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, production, and overseas partners
