Role Description

Robert Half are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Senior Auditor to join an established accountancy practice firm on a 3-month contract, supporting with year-end audits for a portfolio of clients.
Based in central Barnsley, this role will be working from the clients' offices, so we are looking for someone who is confident operating in a client-facing environment and able to make an immediate impact.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and deliver year-end audits for a range of businesses
Plan, conduct and complete audit fieldwork efficiently and accurately
Review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
Work closely with clients on-site, building strong and professional relationships
Identify audit risks, prepare findings and report back to senior stakeholders
