Automation Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber (BDD)
• Automate web applications and REST APIs using tools such as RestAssured / Postman
• Develop reusable test scripts and improve test coverage across applications
• Perform API testing including validation of request/response, status codes, and schema
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar)
• Execute test suites, analyze failures, and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Participate in requirement analysis and convert user stories into test scenarios
