Azure Migration Lead (VMware to Azure)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a migration pod , owning execution and outcomes across assigned workloads
• Drive wave-based VMware to Azure migrations from discovery through post-validation
• Execute application-level migration treatment plans aligned to program runbooks
• Perform complexity assessments (low/medium/high) and map to migration strategies
• Lead and direct Migration Engineer activities , ensuring quality and delivery pace
• Take ownership of high-complexity migration scenarios and technical problem solving
• Operate Azure Migrate and replication tools (e.g., ASR) at an advanced level
• Design and manage replication strategies and throughput planning
• Plan and execute cutover events , including rollback and contingency planning
• Contribute to and evolve migration runbooks and reusable pattern libraries
