About the Role

We are seeking a Backend / Data Engineer to support the development of a payroll compliance and audit platform designed for the Australian market. The system will process payroll datasets, analyze them against regulatory frameworks, and generate compliance insights and reports. This role will focus primarily on backend development, data processing, and building the core analytics engine that powers the platform.

The developer will work closely with the client’s leadership and technical stakeholders to build and improve a scalable system that ingests payroll data, processes rule-based compliance checks, and produces dashboards and reporting outputs.
