Role Description
ASAP - Full time - Swindon
Are you confident, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with behavioural and emotional needs?
A Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Swindon is looking for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support their pupils, and act as a positive role model. This is an ideal position for an individual interested in behaviour management, youth work, psychology or education.
The students of this school have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and display anti-social and challenging behaviours, often as a result of their emotional difficulties. You will play a key role in supporting the students with behaviour regulation and emotional needs, implementing de‑escalation techniques, and providing consistency and positive reinforcement. You will also work alongside Teachers, SENCOs and mental health professionals, to provide the students with the best education possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity...
