Job Description
The Buyer supports day-to-day procurement operations with a strong focus on managing tail spend, identifying and enabling suppliers, and expanding catalog content within SAP Ariba. This role helps reduce manual purchasing activities, improve spend visibility, and increase use of preferred purchasing channels by effectively leveraging contracts, suppliers, and digital buying tools.
Responsibilities

+ Execute tail spend sourcing activities, including rate card maintenance, supplier identification, and catalog enablement, while leaving strategic sourcing events, complex negotiations, and contract drafting to other teams.

+ Actively manage and reduce tail spend across assigned categories by identifying opportunities to consolidate suppliers and shift spend to preferred vendors.

+ Perform spot buys in alignment with procurement policies and pricing benchmarks, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
