Role Description

Experience : Minimum 5 years’ experience, out of which minimum 2 years as L2, in NMS event management and network fault monitoring with

+ Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies and network security

+ Experience in setting up NMS discovery, topology mapping, alert thresholds and severity rules

+ Ability to integrate NMS tools with ticketing systems and email/SMS alerting

+ Familiarity with high availability setup, performance tuning and log retention

+ Good scripting and querying knowledge for automation and custom reports

+ Ability to generate uptime, bandwidth utilization, fault trend, SLA and KPI reports
