CNC Machinist/Programmer

MasterTech is on the search for a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer in Salt Lake City. The Machinist/Programmer will be responsible for: Programming, set up, and operation of Mazak Machines utilizing Mazatrol programming language. Troubleshooting machinery, and operating mills and lathes. Collaborating with engineers and designers to interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings. Develop and implement efficient machining strategies that boost productivity. Training and mentoring junior Machinists. Curating a clean and safe work environment. Key Qualifications: 5 or more years of experience in the trade with leadership experience preferred but not required. Highly proficient with Mazak Mazatrol. Excellent understanding of G-Code programming and CNC Machining principles. Experience programming with Mastercam Software. Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
