CNC Programmer

**Job Title:** CNC Programmer
**Classification:** Hourly, Non-Exempt, Union
**Reports To:** Machine Shop Supervisor
**Pay Range:** $25–$40 per hour (based on experience)

**Job Summary**

The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, writing, and optimizing CNC programs for a variety of equipment, including plasma cutters, 4-axis milling machines, turret punches, and press brakes. This role ensures that all components and assemblies are manufactured with precision, efficiency, and in accordance with the highest quality standards.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Interpret blueprints, CAD files, and engineering drawings to create accurate CNC programs.
+ Set up and calibrate machines and equipment for production.
+ Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for:
+ Hypertherm plasma cutting systems
