Role Description

Job Summary
The CNC Programmer is responsible for quality programming of CNC machine tools. They work with operators and lead personnel and utilize Mastercam/personal training to produce precision, close tolerance parts. This positions plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

Principal Accountabilities
Modify and create programs
Manages the setup of multiple machines for operator to run
Performs quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task
