CNC Programmer - Mastercam

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a CNC Programmer utilizing Mastercam to program for a large machine shop in Chesapeake, Va. This role is supporting a locomotive manufacturer's internal machine shop.

General Scope: To write C.N.C programs for new jobs, and to update existing programs when changes occur or new technology is available that would cause changes to existing tooling.

Position Summary:
To write CNC programs using the latest revisions or blueprints and to incorporate the newest tooling which requires updating older programs to double check all programs for errors.
To eliminate scrap and unsafe machine movements.

Pay Range $40-$45 per hour
