Commercial Litigation Associate

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a leading litigation partner and a high-performing litigation team on complex commercial litigation matters, including fraud, cyber-related disputes, and emerging digital asset issues.
• Support sophisticated, high-stakes litigation files from early strategy through to resolution, including motions, evidentiary analysis, and case management.
• Conduct advanced legal research, develop litigation strategy, and prepare written advocacy materials in complex commercial disputes.
• Manage and run significant portions of litigation files with increasing autonomy, acting as a key support to senior counsel on busy matters.

Qualifications

• Called to the Ontario Bar, with approximately 3 to 6 years of experience in commercial litigation.
