Commodity Manager

The Sr. Commodity Manager for r _esin, plastics, glass, gasket & insulation and wire & cable_ is responsible for proactively managing the total supply base performance and spend, develop, deploy and refine sourcing strategy for assigned commodities, identify the best suppliers for the company’s needs, negotiate pricing & contracts, and secure the overall supply chain of assigned commodity type of parts while adding value to the whole supply chain and mitigate risk for assigned manufacturing sites.

In this role, the Sr Commodity Manager for resin, plastics, glass, gasket & insulation and wire & cable will establish strategic actions to take the commodity to the desired level set by the organization working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams at the different manufacturing sites.
