Communications Lead Volunteer

The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a volunteer-led 5k or 1k walk or run, the largest breast cancer fundraiser in Canada. This year’s event will be on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

As a community engagement leadership volunteer, you will be part of a committee of 10 to 15 volunteers that will work over the months to help organize our fundraising events. Available roles can include committee lead, logistics, community outreach, volunteer lead, and social media.

• Building and executing a local marketing and media relations plan to promote the CIBC Run for the Cure across multiple channels, using CCS and CIBC-approved materials.
