Component Engineer

**Job Description**
BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated **Component Engineer** to join our Engineering Team, focused on DMSMS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages) support and Obsolescence Management for an exciting opportunity to support our commercially available Cloud-based application providing DMSMS services to customers around the globe. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor component lifecycles, identify risks within our Bills of Materials (BOMs), and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the continued availability of components for new design and legacy systems. You will work closely with design engineers, customers, and suppliers to manage parts quality, counterfeit avoidance, and component selection.
