Role Description
The Controls Design Engineering Apprentice is a key member of TGW Northern Europe’s Controls Team and is vital to the continued successful delivery of our projects. Apprentices will learn all aspects of controls design engineering and form part of project teams. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will produce power calculations, sensor actuator layouts (SALs), ePLAN schematics, technical specifications, and emulation modules. Working as part of the Hardware and Systems design team, you will create all the required design documentation, to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.
WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING
* Year 1: Full-time college study for a Level 3 Diploma
* Years 2-4: Onsite familiarisation with TGW systems, bespoke training in our education centre, and hands-on experience in installation and maintenance.
* Design & Documentation: Review mechanical layouts, populate electrical/control hardware, create Sensor Actuator Layouts, cable routes...
