Controls Engineer

Job Description

+ Develop and modify existing control systems; both modifying existing control systems and developing new control systems

+ Troubleshoot and maintain automation lines to ensure continuous operation.

+ Create new schematics, BOMs, programs, and applications.

+ Focus on PLC and HMI development using Allen-Bradley products.

+ Travel up to 20% for start-ups, mainly within the U.S. and occasionally to Canada.

Must Have

+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

+ 3-5+ years of experience in Controls Engineering.

+ Extensive experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs.

+ Proficient in programming from scratch, ideally with experience at a systems integrator or OEM.

+ Ability to open and review CAD drawings and make redlines.

Nice to Have

+ Expertise in compliance, motor applications, and data acquisition.
