Role Description
Summary
The Corporate Logistics Coordinator is responsible for handling the logistical coordination of the organization’s facilities, including office buildings and plants within a defined geographical region. Duties include procurement of logistics services, management of carrier relationships, support of the plants’ logistical and operational needs as they relate to transportation and the safe interaction of carriers with shipping and receiving. The Logistics Coordinator shall also create and maintain all associated documentation in adherence with established company practices, legislation and organizational policies and procedures. In some circumstances, the Logistics Coordinator may be responsible for the safety requirements of the organization’s facilities and assets.
