Role Description

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Crane Inspector to support a unique US Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct periodic inspections, testing, and certification of cranes and hoisting equipment to ensure compliance with applicable safety and operational standards.

Perform load testing and performance assessments on cranes and lifting devices, ensuring proper operation and adherence to manufacturer and regulatory specifications.

Document all inspections and certification activities, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely submission of reports to appropriate stakeholders.

Perform visual and operational inspections for wear, damage, or deficiencies on structural components, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and safety devices.
