**Role purpose**

Lead and coordinate Record to Report (RTR) activities for the Americas region, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP, Corning policies, and internal procedures.

This role is responsible for:

+ Overseeing period-end close activities
+ Ensuring accuracy of the general ledger
+ Driving timely and accurate financial reporting

Additionally, the role:

+ Provides day-to-day leadership and operational support to the team
+ Drives process discipline, standardization, and continuous improvement
+ Acts as a key point of contact between RTR operations, business partners, and leadership
+ Supports accounting activities aligned with applicable regulations and reporting requirements
