Role Description
**Responsibilities**:- Support the Flat or Long Products sales team within the U.S. and/or Canada selling markets.
- Analyzes purchase orders from customers for entry into SAP.
- Communicate with mill contacts by responding to requests and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the technical rep to ensure technical specs of orders are entered accurately with the producing mill.
- Responsible for inquiry creation for new items as instructed by the technical rep.
- Follow orders through to delivery at U.S. and/or Canadian ports for customer pick-up of ordered material.Send regular status updates and order confirmations to customers.
- Follow and track production delays and make sure customer priorities are considered, and corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate shipping with the logistics team, the mills, and at Antwerp to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
