Data Analytics and Visualisation Engineer

We have a 9‑month fixed‑term opportunity for a Data Analytics and Visualisation Engineer to provide operational and development support for analytical workflows (data pipelines and dashboards) for communicable disease surveillance reporting. You will partner with our experts at PHF Science and our external partners to derive meaningful value from data.

The position will start early July. Preference is for the role to be based in either Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch, but remote working may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to develop and maintain data ingestion and interactive dashboards frameworks using diverse data sets.
• Provide operation support for real‑time data collection, ingestion, storage and analysis solutions.
