Data Center Network Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable, high-performance data center network architectures across multi-vendor environments.
• Deploy and manage Cisco, Juniper, and Arista switches/routers, including configuration, troubleshooting, and firmware upgrades.
• Automate network provisioning and monitoring using Ansible, Python, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Network Automation frameworks).
• Ensure network uptime and performance through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and incident resolution in 24/7 production environments.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and systems teams to enforce network policy, segmentation, and compliance in hybrid and on-prem data centers.
• Document network topology, IP addressing schemes, and operational runbooks to maintain operational excellence and enable team scalability.
