Data Engineer

The Associate Data Engineer is an entry level role within the Data Engineering job family. The role assists with the transformation of data into a structured format for analysis, supports the development of reusable data sets, and designs data models for business analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Supports the creation of data models in a structured data format to enable analysis.
• Assists with the design and development of scalable extract, transform, and load (ETL) packages from business source systems.
• Participates in the transformation of object and data models into appropriate database schemas within design constraints.
• Creates test scenarios and participates in thorough testing and validation to support the accuracy of data transformations.
