Data Modeling Techniques

Key Responsibilities

• Drive discussions with client teams to understand business requirements and develop data models that fit the requirements.
• Drive discovery activities and design workshops with clients and support design discussions.
• Create data modeling deliverables and obtain sign‑off.
• Develop the solution blueprint, scope, and estimate delivery project.

Must Have Skills

• 7+ years overall IT experience with 3+ years in data modeling.
• Experience in dimensional modeling and/or 3‑NF modeling / No‑SQL DB modeling.
• Experience with at least one cloud DB design.
• Conversant with modern data platform.
• Work experience on data transformation and analytic projects, understanding of DWH.
• Instrumental in DB design through all stages of data modeling.
• Experience with at least one leading data modeling tool (e.g., Erwin, ER Studio, or equivalent).
