Data Platform Transition Specialist

● Legacy (AS/400): Deep understanding of DB2 for i, Physical/Logical files, Library lists, and Journaling. Proficiency in SQL/400 is mandatory.

● Target (PostgreSQL): Expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL (v14+), including partitioning, JSONB, and advanced indexing.

● Migration Tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as AWS DMS, Informatica, Talend, or open-source solutions like pgLoader or DBeaver (Enterprise).

● Programming: Strong scripting skills in Python or Shell for automation, and fluency in PL/pgSQL. ● CDC (Change Data Capture): Experience with near-zero downtime migration using CDC tools (e.G., Qlik Replicate, Debezium).
