Responsibilities

General Description:

• Ensures the integrity and security of all assigned production databases as well as the accuracy of information that will be generated from them. Performs maintenance activities, such as data purging, table updating, etc, to ensure optimum performance of the databases.
• Handles Change Request for any changes required on certain records of the databases; reviews regularly the server and application configuration viz a viz the databases for effective usage.

Overall Scope of work:

• Takes charge of the creation, maintenance and alteration of database objects to ensure smooth banking operation.
• Handles changes to the database records upon management authorization and approval via the Change Request procedures to ensure that only authorized changes are executed.
