Role Description

Duties and Responsibilities
:
Responsible for keeping all the necessary pipe components staged and organized above the trench before installation

Responsible for the maintenance and organization of the crews tools and rigging hardware

Operate mechanized equipment such as quick cut saw, diesel plate packer, jumping jack compactor, impact drills and a variety of other hand tools

Strong understanding of hoisting and rigging requirements for pipe and shoring boxes

Ability to maintain inventory of pipe components required to complete the job

Responsible for cutting and beveling pipe before installation

Strong understanding of industry torque specifications for watermain installation

Signals equipment operators to ensure a safe and proper excavation around overhead utilities
Requirements:
Valid Ontario Driver’s License
