Role Description

The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and reviewing engineering drawings, managing change processes, and supporting product development activities. This role requires strong CAD skills, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and the ability to interface with internal teams and customers for engineering projects. 

Core Responsibilities:
Create drawings based on redlines provided by others.

Perform QC checks on CAD drawings to ensure compliance with company standards.

Size and design components using O-rings.

Design sheet metal parts for custom enclosures.

Manage the ECO (Engineering Change Order) process by identifying impacted parts and correctly dispositioning affected parts.

Release drawings through the ECO process and Epicor system, ensuring understanding of change impacts across departments.

Develop multi-level BOMs (Bill of Materials) for top-level assemblies.
