Design Engineer

HEB Construction is a dynamic and innovative leader in the construction of New Zealand's Infrastructure. We are involved with a variety of projects from road construction and maintenance through to earthworks, drainage, marine works, and major projects of national significance.

We’re looking for an experienced Temporary Works Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering smart, safe, and cost‑effective construction solutions. The primary purpose of this role is to provide design support across our operational projects, precast division, and tender teams - covering temporary works and, at times, permanent design requirements.

This position plays a key part in developing innovative solutions for our construction and precast teams, and in supporting our tender teams to successfully bid for projects in line with HEB’s temporary works guidelines.
