Diesel Technician Level 2

The Fleet technician 2 will repair and diagnose major components or service/remove/replace major components of various truck and trailing equipment at the direction of the shop manager. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair fleet equipment with little or no supervision. Conduct Preventive Maintenance (PM) Services. Service and repair tires as needed.

• Comply with all safety and best practices and follow company SOPs
• Demonstrate proficiency in the inspection, repair and diagnosis of diesel engines, powertrain including differentials, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, wheel ends; electrical systems including starters, alternators and lights; HVAC systems; steering systems; electronics including ECMs/ECUs/sensors; engine bolt-on items such as turbochargers and cooling systems; brake systems including ABS and air disk brakes; suspension systems (spring and air); tire issues; after-treatment devices such as DPF a...
