Dowstream Process Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join the Process Technology team in Tlalnepantla, Mexico . This role supports manufacturing operations through the optimization and improvement of downstream processes within a biotechnological manufacturing environment.

The position collaborates with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient, stable, and high-quality process performance.

Main Activities

• Monitor and support downstream process activities from fermentation harvest to final product.
• Optimize unit operations related to:
• Filtration (microfiltration, ultrafiltration, sterile filtration)
• Biomass separation (centrifugation, decantation)
• Drying technologies (spray drying, lyophilization, granulation)
• Troubleshoot process deviations and support corrective actions.
