Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families: Reporting to the Director and/or designate, Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR), the Educator and Resource Coordinator is responsible for identifying educational and safety requirements, planning, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining an effective program of staff orientation, education, and development for the regional program. The Educator and Resource Coordinator interacts regularly with personnel at all levels within the organization including Directors, Managers, and Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE) regarding medical device reprocessing services and operational activities and communicates with key internal and external stakeholders, committees and task groups as required for conducting daily business and achieving program goals and objectives.
