Electrical Designer – Industrial Automation
Location: Ancaster, ON (Onsite) | Department: Automation | Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 annually | Vacancy: Existing Position | Travel: North America (Canada & USA, as required) Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support electrical control systems for automation equipment and machinery Ensure compliance with all applicable Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CSA, UL, and company standards) Test and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs Support machine installation, testing, debugging, and commissioning during startups Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) support and provide remote troubleshooting assistance to field service teams Conduct Proof of Concept activities for complex technical challenges Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to design and deliver automated assembly solutions Create and maintain electrical documentation for new and existing eq...
