Electrical Designer

ElectricalDesigner We are looking for an ElectricalDesigner for our Peterborough, Ontario site.

JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Design Services Manager, responsibilities of the designer performing this role include supporting the technical direction for the overall project and interfacing with both external and internal customers including the Instrumentation and Controls Engineering department. Electrical designers participate in the development and drafting of designs for automated and semi‑automated equipment.

The Design Services department uses tools such as AutoCAD®, AutoCAD Electrical®, IntEC® and Inventor® to create concept drawings, detailed designs, elementary drawings, BOMs, wiring diagrams and can also provide design replacement solutions for obsolete components such as relays, motors and circuit cards.
