Electrical Engineer - IT Equipment

This hybrid Engineering role (3 days/week in Fremont, CA) is responsible for managing product certification and compliance projects from scope definition through completion. The position involves direct client interaction, technical evaluation of products, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with UL standards while delivering high-quality service and maintaining strong client relationships.

+ Define project scope, develop investigation plans, and determine specifications (cost, timeline, and sample requirements) based on client input, product construction, and supporting data

+ Travel as needed to client sites to conduct or witness testing

+ Initiate and maintain client communication to promote and explain UL services

+ Follow up on client inquiries and maintain ongoing relationships

+ Communicate technical requirements, project scope, timelines, and costs to clients
