Electrical Motor Technician

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on LV/MV electric motors, pumps, fans, compressors, and rotating equipment across the QAFCO fertilizer plant Carry out motor rewinding, insulation resistance testing (IR/PI tests), vibration analysis, and shaft alignment checks; interpret results and initiate corrective actions Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, MCC panels, motor starters, and VFDs; coordinate with the control room and process teams during equipment isolation and reinstatement Work under the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and strictly follow LOTO procedures during all maintenance activities Maintain accurate maintenance records using SAP PM; prepare job reports, material requisitions, and support shutdown/turnaround planning and execution Comply with QAFCO HSE policies and handle explosion-proof (Ex) equipment in ATEX/IECEx classified hazardous areas safely Requirements Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification Valid Electrical...
