Electrician

Summary

: Electrician, reporting to the Lead Hand, you will be responsible for electrical related tasks involving the construction and renovation of relocatable modular structures. This position installs, repairs, and maintains, all components on camps, generators and distribution buildings. This is a Grande Prairie shop-based position with a possibility of some field work as required.

 This position is safety sensitive, and will require drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.

The Electrician performs some or all of the following duties:

Installs electrical circuits and all types of electrical equipment and appliances including grounding leads, lighting fixtures, life safety systems, and other circuits as needed.

Mounts motors, transformers, light fixtures into position and complete circuits according to drawings and specs

 Weekly test run of emergency diesel generator in coordination with building operators.
