Electrician

Job Description

• Install, assemble, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential, commercial, or industrial sites
• Read and interpret electrical plans, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
• Mount solar panels, inverters, and other system components according to design and safety standards
• Perform electrical wiring, connections, and terminations for solar systems (AC and DC)
• Ensure proper grounding and bonding of all electrical equipment
• Test solar systems for performance, safety, and functionality before commissioning
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues, including electrical faults and equipment failures
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of installed solar systems
• Comply with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members during installation
